The Garden
Have you taken care of your garden? How about some plants?
With her soft and wise hands, Anna takes care of her garden with love and dedication. Every morning, before dawn, she goes out with her straw hat and gloves to take care of her garden. She waters the plants with fresh water, talking to them as if they were her old friends. She shares her secrets with them and thanks them for their beauty.
With patience and care she takes care of her roses, jasmines, gardenias and other plants. She makes sure that each flower receives the light and water it needs daily. Her garden is an oasis of colors and aromas, it is a refuge for her, her family and friends.
Anna believes that each plant has a personality, need and unique story. From Anna I have learned that lavender helps calm, rosemary helps memory and that the hummingbirds that come to collect nectar bring joy. Her garden is her sanctuary, her space for meditation and connection with nature. There she finds peace, inspiration and wisdom.
When I think of my mind I remember Anna's garden. I say this because of the importance of caring for and nurturing our own internal 'plants': our thoughts, emotions and dreams. Just like Anna's garden, we must water our minds with knowledge that brings wisdom, and at the same time prune our habits with discipline without losing the ability to enjoy the beauty that life offers us.
When neglected the garden will become overgrown and many flowers will drown; the same happens with our mind. In life we can choose to cultivate our mind or leave it in a state of laziness. The cultivated mind is one that is constantly exercised, challenged and nourished, while the lazy mind is content with what it already knows and does not seek to improve itself.
A cultivated and carefully cared for mind grows, learns and reaches its maximum potential as human beings. Every day we can choose to "water" our mind with new knowledge through reading, articles and learning from the people around us.
The best thing is that over time, our mental garden becomes an oasis of innovation and creativity. Your ideas will bloom like colorful flowers, and your achievements will grow like strong trees bearing fruit or surplus.
It is by cultivating the mind that we can overcome obstacles and achieve our dreams. Because it is in the mental garden where innovative solutions are created and inspiring stories are written.
If someone asks you: "How do you manage to be so creative and successful?" you can smile and answer: "My mind is like a garden. I take care of it every day, and it gives me incredible fruits."
Then we can deduce that the success in the life of any person has not been by destiny, but a journey of continuous growth and learning in their mental garden. I invite you to have a real connection in the care of your mental garden.
